the space was CLAUSTROPHOBIC —— cramped, but being a skeleton had its benefits. skulduggery twisted his arm and searched the dark with slender fingers until he felt soft skin against his knuckles. turning his palm slightly, he gave valkyrie’s hand a squeeze. ❛ we’ll be out any second ; i managed to text china before the place caved it. she knows where we are. ❜ voice carrying effortlessly through the tight air ( tone gentle & reassuring )
battleaccessory-blog: "Hypothetically if you got stabbed with a knife, and hypothetically really didn't want to go to Kenspeckle because he would lecture you about it, what would you hypothetically do?" (it can be on da phone)
….. Was she serious? The Skeleton is quiet for a long moment, Settled in his chair at his home for once relaxing ( going through the newspaper, for any particular clues )
But this didn’t sound like a time to be RELAXING.
“….. ……… Valkyrie, did you get stabbed with a knife?”
His voice is casual, almost breathless, the fight pumping imaginary adrenaline– ( He didn’t need to be, but he was TIRED ) It’s what weeks of straight work did to you. It’s what fight like THAT did to you– [ dead or not ]
But her words– He initially brushed them off, didn’t absorb their meaning– and then he looked at her.
[ SHOT ]
“– Valkyrie–”
Urgency. it slips into his tone, still ripe from the raw emotion of the fight alone, and he’s moving forward, gloved fingers reaching out, arms moving, concern surely written along bleached, emotionless skull. ( If she is WOUNDED— oh, how angry he will be )
“You can last another three miles until we reach the next gas station to get a doughnut, Valkyrie. It’s not the end of the world—- …. Well, technically it nearly IS, but not because o the doughnut thing.”
“ Mum’s not here ; instead there’s me, the amazingly awesome Dad– Wouldn’t you prefe– “
“ Desmond be quiet. Sorry about him ; now what’s this about Stephanie hanging around a skeleton ?? You are aware that they are inanimate, which means according to you she hangs around a graveyard… “ Today seemed to be the day for odd visitors with stories about her daughter– Her daughter who did not cut people, and did not hang around skeletons.. “ So if that’s what you’re implying, I suggest you leave now. “
Desmond waited for his wife to leave before approaching the front door again, he did attempt to lean against the frame like he’d seen cool people do in movies- but the feeling of falling that accompanied the action put him off it. “Stephanie doesn’t involve herself in yourcrowd ; and I’d appreciate it if you stayed away from my family. “

Melissa is quite simply STUNNED by the question ;SHOCK covering her features for a moment before a frown appears as she looks at the man stood at the front door of her house. There was indeed a SCAR on his face ; but she found it remarkably UNLIKELY that it was caused by Stephanie, especially since she did go to school everyday , and when she wasn’t at school, she was STUDYING in her room. “ I’m sorry, but I think you’ve got the WRONG house… “ Because there was NO WAY that her daughter had time for cutting people ; nor was her personality one of a psychopath– no, it wasnt HER daughter that did it.
character in general: i have literally JUST started reading the skulduggery pleasant series, but i really like valkyrie’s character, even if it’s just from what i’ve seen on this blog. how they play them: i can’t really say much since i’ve yet to actually read more than a page of the books, but it seems like mun has a very good grip on the muse. the mun: fellow aussie!! ally is v sweet and it’s a joy seeing her on my dash.

overall opinion: honestly if you’re not following this blog already, you should definitely hit that follow button, okay. valkyrie cain is a badass bae and ally is a sweetheart.

my opinion on;
character in general: Valkyrie is grand. I love the way that Derek made her grow and develop, love how he made her from this stubborn, fairly weak mortal girl into the badass Valkyrie that we all know and hopefully love. I just really love Valkyrie Cain.
how they play them: They play Val excellently. It’s much like how she acts in the books, much like how she would act, or how it appears she would act, in the situations that the mun’s particular Val is placed in. Her Val has all the same layers that the author’s Val did. She’s smart, funny in that sarcastic way, capable, more or less innocent for the younger verses, and everything else that could be said to describe Valkyrie depending on each situation and verse. the mun: I have not gotten to know the mun very well. The only messages we’ve traded were of the standard, “I’ll answer that when I can” sort. But I would love to get to know the mun better.

follow them: Yes rp with them: Sort of? If I get around to replying, yes, we will have a thread. want to rp with them: Oh heavens yes. ship their character with mine: Well… I ship a lot of ships outside of roleplaying. I’m very careful not to push ships on to people. Especially if we haven’t had proper interactions or seen how the muses interact with one another. Yes, I ship Valkyrie Cain, as in the character from the books, with many of my muses. No, I don’t ship the mun’s Valkyrie Cain muse with any of my muses… yet.

overall opinion: I do hope this doesn’t come off as sarcastic, but 8.5 out of 10 would recommend to anyone to follow/interact with.
